What Are Credits?

Credits are the standard unit of measurement for Wanclouds AI usage.

Each action you perform through AI assistants, managing resources, troubleshooting, monitoring or storing data consumes a small portion of your available credits. Think of credits as your all-in-one balance that covers everything happening behind the scenes.

How Credits Are Used

Your credit consumption depends on how you use the platform. Several key factors contribute to credit usage:

LLM Tokens: Credits are used when interacting with AI assistants. Each request and response uses a certain number of tokens (AI processing units), which determine how much credit is consumed.
Infrastructure Cost: Running cloud automation and resource management operations — such as provisioning, scaling, or monitoring uses compute resources. Credits cover the cost of these underlying infrastructure activities.
Support & Operations: If your plan includes technical support, troubleshooting, or managed service operations, part of your credits go toward these expert-led services.
Data Retention & Storage: Storing and retaining your historical logs, metrics, and AI insights also consumes credits based on how long and how much data you keep.

Why Use Credits?

Unified System: All usage - AI, infrastructure, and support is tracked under a single, simple credit system.
Flexible: You can scale usage up or down anytime; credits are only consumed when you use resources.
Transparent: Your dashboard shows where your credits are going so you can plan usage effectively.

Credit Refresh & Top-Ups

Your credits refresh automatically with your subscription renewal (monthly or yearly). If you run out before the renewal date, you can easily top up your credits anytime to continue uninterrupted usage.

Tracking Your Usage

You can monitor your credit usage in the Billing & Subscription Dashboard. The Overview gives a quick snapshot of your total credits, used credits, and remaining credits.
For more detail, the Usage tab shows per-chat credit consumption, so you can see exactly how many credits each interaction used. — helping you stay in control of your costs.
